Letter of Wishes

A Letter of Wishes isn’t legally binding, but it gives your executors and trustees valuable direction in your own words. Unlike a Will, it remains private and can be updated at any time without legal formalities.

We’re updating our website to better serve. Until then, we’re only a phone call or email away to assist with your legacy planning journey

With a Will you can:

Protect your loved ones and make your wishes clear

  • Decide who inherits your estate, and who to exclude.

  • Appoint executors and guardians for your children.

  • Specify funeral wishes.

  • Delay children inheriting until they’re old enough to manage it responsibly.

  • Ensure treasured possessions go to the right people.

We offer professional guidance delivered with calm heads, so you can feel reassured, supported, and in control.

Reasons to create a letter of wishes

Drafting one at the same time as your Will ensures nothing is overlooked. If circumstances change, you can simply destroy and replace it with a new one.

  • Funeral wishes in as much detail as you like.

  • Guidance for guardians about children’s upbringing.

  • Who should (or shouldn’t) be informed of your passing.

  • Why certain people were left more or less.

  • Instructions for personal possessions not listed in your Will.
